On My Mind Always...

Thinking about my mom. I don't write about her on the blog as often as I used to, but she is on my mind all the time, and I was thinking about her yesterday when I made this page...
Sometimes it's hard to know how to feel, when you go on without someone you love, know what I mean? I'm so glad I have my art - it's the best therapy ever!

Thanks so much for visiting! I will see you again soon!

We never stop missing our moms--no matter how old we are. It's been 18 years for me and there are many days when I wish for my "Mommy." My daily struggle is in trying to honor her by being the kind of woman she raised me to be and would want me to be. But I know both she and God understand there are times when I'm still extremely sad or even mad that she's no longer here. That's the "price" of love.

It has been 2 years and 4 months for me ... just this weekend I had a long hard cry over the fact she never got to see my youngest child have a birthday (his 3rd was Friday). It kind of hit me rather hard.

I am glad that art can be a healing process as well as a creative one.
